Terms of Use
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Respira mobile app ("Respira", "we", "us"). By downloading or using Respira, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use Respira. By using the app, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
2. Not medical advice
Respira provides quit-smoking support, breathing exercises, and general wellness content for informational purposes only. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Respira is not a substitute for professional healthcare. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider before making changes to your health routine, especially if you are pregnant or have a heart, respiratory, or other medical condition. If you feel unwell while using the app, stop and seek medical help. You use Respira at your own risk.
3. Your account
You are responsible for providing accurate information, for activity under your account, and for keeping your login secure. You may delete your account at any time from Profile > Privacy & Security > Delete Account in the app, or by emailing support@respira.co.in.
4. Subscriptions & auto-renewal
Respira offers an optional auto-renewing subscription ("Respira Pro") with weekly, monthly, and yearly plans, and a one-time lifetime purchase. Some plans may include a free trial. The following terms apply to auto-renewing subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store:
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
- The subscription automatically renews at the then-current price for the same period unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
- If a free trial is offered, any unused portion is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription, and turn off auto-renew, in your Apple ID Account Settings after purchase.
- Prices are shown in the app before purchase and may vary by region.
Purchases, billing, and refunds are handled by Apple under the terms of your App Store account. Refund requests are subject to Apple's policies; to request a refund, use reportaproblem.apple.com. Cancelling stops future renewals; it does not retroactively refund the current period unless required by law.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the app, including attempting to copy, modify, reverse engineer, or disrupt it, or to use it for any unlawful purpose.
6. Intellectual property
Respira and its content, design, and trademarks are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by law. These Terms grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for your own non-commercial use.
7. Disclaimers & limitation of liability
The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Respira is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms. You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. If a change is material, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
